“Beyond 200 is about solidifying the joy of teaching Yoga…” Julee

Vinyasa Immersion Teacher Training

With Julee Yew Crijns

50 Hours Yoga Alliance Accredited

This immersion training program explores some important aspects of teaching vinyasa yoga, including how to put together krama sequences, refine your understanding of poses, and the use hands-on assists. It is designed for yoga teachers seeking to incorporate Vinyasa yoga into their teaching portfolio or experienced teachers looking to refresh their perspective & hone on their craft.

Vinyasa yoga's popularity stems from its dynamic nature and diverse offerings.

With no fixed sequences, classes vary widely in style, pace, and intensity, reflecting the teacher's individual approach and the chosen theme. A class might focus on a specific group of poses, an anatomical principle, a peak pose, or even be designed for restorative purposes.

Outline of the program:

Krama Sequencing

Yoga classes utilising krama sequencing are designed to unfold in a gradual, progressive manner, integrating essential "ingredients" – preparatory poses, key actions and transitions – that systematically lead practitioners towards the desired peak pose.

Asana & Teaching Labs

Daily exploration of alignment, anatomical structure, and energetic principles to sharpen your observation skills and your teaching intuition.

Assists in Motion

The practice of translating what you experience, see, and feel through our hands. Effective assists require confident observation, intuitive understanding, and clarity of intention. You will explore how to use hands-on assists in a way that feels natural and supportive for both you and your receiver, making these techniques readily available in your teaching.

“I joined Julee’s vinyasa immersion shortly after taking my 200hr YTT, wanting to add different styles of teaching to my classes.

Julee’s teaching & style is beautifully unique & throughout the course she shares her love & knowledge generously with the group. We learnt to build sequences & create class plans, how to adapt & modify these to suit the students in our classes & how to build a sequence up to a peak pose or theme.

I hugely recommend this immersion to both new teachers & any teacher wanting to add a different dimension to their classes & teaching style. Julee is an amazingly gifted teacher with a depth of knowledge, a huge heart & a big smile! Tracey R
