Join our studio

You can join our studio by simply going to login/register on our website where you can sign up for a new account, and start booking classes; it’s that simple! For the best user experience download the VAYU Yoga app, register for an account, purchase, book and amend your bookings.

General info

Please bring your own mat to the studio, if you need guidance we are happy to advise you!

We have generous-sized bathrooms if you need to change before or after class. We also have one shower/changing room. Please bring your own towel if you would like to use this facility, we don’t hire towels.

If you haven't done Yoga before, amazing! We cannot wait to welcome you to the studio! If you haven’t practised Yoga before, we recommend Mindful Flow, Hatha, Flow to Restore for a physical class and Yin or Restorative to relax!

Children aged 16 and 17 are welcome to join our classes ( with the exception of heated classes ) with parental signed consent, please get in touch with us, and we can assist you further.

Class cancellations

Classes must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the start of the class. Customers who cancel more than 12 hours in advance will be given a credit back onto their Momence account. Cancellations are not possible less than 12 hours before the start of the class. We are a small studio so please cancel as soon as possible to give others the opportunity to practice.

Waitlist

If you add yourself to the waitlist, you will receive an automatic email if a space becomes available. If you are offered a place the 12-hour cancellation policy for classes applies. You can be moved into a class up to 6 hours before the start of class, please ensure you are certain of being moved into class after the 12-hour cancellation policy, as the late cancel charges will apply. If you are unsure at the time, please remove yourself from the waitlist before the 12-hour cancellation window begins, and allow others to be moved into the class.

Cancelling your membership

You can cancel your membership anytime with a minimum of 7 days' written notice to info@vayu-yoga.co.uk. If you are on an annual membership this is a 12-month contract, the fee is non-refundable or transferable.

Studio Guidelines

Please be aware of the following simple guidelines, to ensure a happy and healthy environment for everyone coming to the studio.   

·  Ensure you have booked the class you wish to attend via the website or app before arriving at the studio.

·  Entry to class begins 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class.

·  Check-in at reception before all classes or you may be charged the late cancellation fee.

·  Arrive in time for your class, you won't be able to practice if you arrive late. The studio door is closed just before the class commences to ensure it starts on time.

·   Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in and bring a water bottle. We recommend you stay in the room for the entire class. If you need a break try taking a restful pose or lying down, there are no expectations, listen to your body.

·  Place your phone on silent upon entering the studio space. No phones in the Yoga studio to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.

·  Remove footwear and place it in the shoe rack, we are a shoe-free studio ensuring the floor remains clean.

·  We ask you to bring your own mat, blocks, bolsters and straps are available for your use.

·   If you are pregnant congratulations! Let us know immediately to discuss which classes are suitable for you to attend. We ask you don’t take any classes in the first trimester.

·   We ask there are no personal belongings or devices in the studio to ensure a clutter-free environment for everyone. We provide lockers for your personal belongings.

My app isn’t working.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. If your VAYU App is not working correctly here are a few things you can try;

1.  Ensure the App is updated to the latest version.

2.  Ensure your Apple or Android operating software is up to date.

3.   Turn your phone off and on.

4.   If you haven’t already, please delete the VAYU App and re-install it on your phone or device, this generally fixes everything.

5.   Lastly, you can reset your password using the Forgot Password link.
