Charlie Anderson Sumner

A woman in a white dress stands on a dirt path through a field of tall grass, with her hands clasped together near her chest and facing to the right. The sky is partly cloudy, with warm lighting suggesting late afternoon or early evening.

Charlie Anderson Sumner (BWY 500hr teacher) has been a yoga practitioner since her late teens and has been teaching since 2013. Yoga, for her, is a lifelong transformative practice of inquiry and awareness that enables a soulful connection between our existence, each other, and the wider world.

As well as general yoga classes, Charlie specialises in teaching yoga philosophy - running regular workshops, and contributing to teacher training programmes.

Charlie holds a 500-hour Level 4 Teacher Training Diploma with The British Wheel and recently earned a Sanskrit GCSE.

An essential part of her journey as a yoga teacher is to continue her journey as a student. She does this through self-practice and self-study, attending classes, training, and workshops, reading and studying about yoga and related topics, and living her yoga.
